Project Leader in Healthcare

In the healthcare sector, extensive development work is underway focusing on future care environments. To strengthen the collaboration between property management and healthcare management, we have now formed a new unit. Here, you will have the opportunity to participate in an early stage and develop working methods, culture, and structure.

The unit initially consists of seven employees with roles such as project leader, local planner, and relocation coordinator. Together, you will work to address the needs of healthcare in property matters and contribute to a long-term, sustainable, and cost-effective development of our care environments.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The assignment involves being the link between healthcare and construction project leaders, a role referred to as project leader. As a project leader, you will lead healthcare operations in work related to new construction and renovations. Therefore, it is crucial that you have experience in healthcare and understand the decision-making processes within the healthcare sector.

As a project leader, you will work with:

• leading working groups from the operations affected by the projects
• participating in planning and execution of the projects
• coordinating and communicating the healthcare needs for new construction and renovations
• having an active role in the construction process and close collaboration with the construction project leader
• leading risk analyses within the project.

You will be based in Gävle at the unit for Property-related Operational Support, where you report to the construction project leader and your unit manager. You will work closely with representatives from healthcare on local issues. The role also includes some travel within the region.

QUALIFICATIONS

To fit in this role, you need to build trust in conversations and describe complex issues in a pedagogical and simple manner, from tenant to construction project, from construction project to tenant. You need to create understanding, engagement, and participation in the groups you lead and be comfortable speaking in front of both small and large groups. Furthermore, you need to have good collaboration skills, see issues from different perspectives, and be able to operate in complex contexts with a sense of quickly understanding new types of questions. You also need to be able to plan, organize, and prioritize work effectively, as well as set and adhere to deadlines.

As a project leader, you should have:

• experience in clinical work within healthcare
• experience in process, change, and/or project management
• good computer skills and proficiency in Office Suite and other digital tools
• strong command of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form.
